Clinical practice: Improved diagnosis and personalized medicine
Cells emerge fully viable and unchanged from BioRam® analysis and isolation, which has significant implications for clinical diagnosis and potential therapeutic applications. Firstly, the cells can be further analysed without any restriction. For instance, cancer cells isolated from biopsy material or peripheral blood can be investigated for their interaction with different medicines to support patient-specific therapy decisions. Secondly, the cells can be cultured and further processed for therapeutic use, which is particularly relevant in the case of stem cells isolated from cord or peripheral blood.
